Daniel O'Shaughnessy

Dan is a left sided central defender, big and strong with good ariel ability, he possesses good pace, a very technical tidy footballer, who is comfortable on the ball.

Biography

Daniel O’Shaughnessy  is a Finnish footballer who also has Irish citizenship.

O’Shaughnessy as a junior played for FC Honka  as well as HJK’s reserve team before joining FC Metz in 2012.  In France he played in the club’s reserve team in CFA leagues, until the summer of 2014 he moved to England and signed a professional contract for championship side Brentford.  O’Shaughnessy has represented his country from the age of 15 onwards.

Dan was called up to the senior Finland squad at age 21 to face Sweden on 10 January 2016.
