Ex Wigan Left Back Jordan Mustoe has completed a move to Belgium top league club KVC Westerlo.

Jordan was released from Wigan after 5 years in the summer of 2014, from here Jordan spent pre season with SPL club Partick Thistle but did not manage to agree a deal, Jordan retuned to England with very few opportunities available and spent the past 5 months Playing on a non contract for 6 games with League 2 Accrington and most recently training with local club Tranmere Rovers while in search of the right opportunity to get his career back on track, after spending months of real hard training and conditioning, Jordan was keen to explore opportunities overseas and took advantage of trial at the Belgium club, within one impressive week Jordan was rewarded with a contract offer, this is a fantastic opportunity for Jordan and is a great example of how so many players in the lower leagues of England technical ability is not appreciated, Jordan spending years developing through the Liverpool FC academy and then under Roberto Martinez developed a technical style of play and skill which along with his athletic and strong physique is something that sees him as a left back who ticks all the boxes to play in a top European league.  Exciting times ahead for Jordan who should make his debut on the 18th of January against Standard Liege.

Best of luck to Jordan from Evo Management and Partners
