Jordan Mustoe

Jordan is a very exciting natural Left back, a great asset going forward, possesses great pace and strength making him a pure athlete, Jordan also likes to chip in with the the occasional assist and goal

Born in Birkenhead, Merseyside, Mustoe started his career as a youth player at Liverpool for 8 years, but was not retained.  He then joined Wigan Athletic, and signed his first professional contract with the club in 2009.

He made his first-team debut in an FA Cup match against Hull City on 8 January 2011, and made his first start for Wigan in another FA Cup match against Swindon Town on 7 January 2012, Jordan went on to feature on the bench in the premier league in a number of important fixtures such as Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea.

On 30 January 2012, he joined Barnet on loan. He made his debut on 7 February, in a 1-0 defeat to Swindon.

He signed on loan for Morecambe on 8 October 2012. He scored on his debut 2 days later, a 4-2 defeat to Preston. His loan finished on 12 November after the 4-1 defeat of Barnet.  The loan was extended on 20 November, allowing for Mustoe to remain on loan until 1 January 2013, Jordan returned to Wigan with the view of pushing for 1st team football in the championship but with the management changes at Wigan Jordan found himself out of favour and was made available to go back out on loan, unfortunately for Jordan at this stage the lack of clubs in league 1 looking for a left back meant that for Jordan to get 1st team senior football he had to return to league 2, he had a short spell at Bury which was ended when Kevin Blackwell was sacked and then a 1 month loan to Wycombe and more successful loan to Morecambe where he went on to have some really good performances to the end of the season, leaving him as a sought after player in the lower leagues now Wigan have told him he can move on.

Jordan played 6 x 90 minute games for Accrington from August – septet 2014 on a non contract but due to finical reasons he did not continue with the club, Jordan trained with several clubs, the last being local club Tranmere Rovers in December before signing a contract with Belgium Premier club KVC Westerlo and making his debut on January the 18th agains Standard Liege, assisting a goal with an interception in his own defending half and running the length of the pitch.
