Kristian is a solid player versatile as a central defender and central midfielder, he possesses fine pace, exceptional arial ability, great leader (currently team captain), technically gifted, very comfortable on the ball and in front of goal as seen in his recent goalscoring statistics scoring 10 goals in 27 games from midfield.
Overall Kristain is a very promising young player with plenty of senior football experience (playing league 2 and conference football from age 17) and has the ability to play at the very highest level in the game.
Kristian Platt (born 15 December 1991, Rock Ferry, Birkenhead) is a originally a central defender who has recently found himself adapting to a central midfield role and regular goalscorer, currently playing for Stalybridge Celtic.
Platt made his professional debut as a 17 year old substitute against Darlington on 3 May 2009 in Chester’s final match in The Football League following relegation. Prior to his debut, Platt had been linked to moves to Premier League clubs such as Manchester United, Everton, Aston Villa and actually received written offers before unfortunately breaking his leg. When returning to fitness Chester had gone into administration, so Kristian took the opportunity for 1st team football with Stalybridge Celtic and has since built up huge experience playing over 100 Conference North games from the age of 17 for them and is currently the team captain.
Platt joined AFC Telford United on the 9th July 2014, meaning he would step up a league, moving into the conference premier.
