Non League Frempah gets pro deal at Leicester City

Ben Frempah has earned himself a professional contract at Leicester City, Ben has made the move jumping seven league levels from Cray Wanderers FC.

After impressing playing from the age of 17 as a key centre back at non league level his ability was soon noticed and began to attract interest, Ben spent some time with Charlton Athletic previously but was not offered a contract, Ben also went on trial with league two leaders Chesterfield who showed strong interest to sign him for the 1st team, however in the meantime the opportunity for Ben to trial with Leicester came about and Ben grabbed it with both hands and after just a couple of days he was offered a professional contract, Ben is very highly rated throughout non league and has been tipped already to follow a similar path as Chris Smalling, these stories are inspiring for young players and shows that by working hard in the lower leagues at a young age can really get recognition.

Ben is delighted to have achieved his dream, he stated this is what he has been working so hard for years and its hard to sink in but he is now looking forward to the new challenges ahead.
